Questions people ask
Will it look tacky?
Not unless you want it to. Warm white is the default and it reads as a normal, high quality downlight. The colour is there when you want it and completely invisible when you do not.
Do I have to use an app?
No. A voice assistant and a wall control are both part of the install, so the app is optional. Anyone who walks into the house can work the lights.
Will it work with Google Home or Alexa?
Yes. The downlights are Matter enabled and work with Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Apple Home and Samsung SmartThings. Tell us which your household uses and we set it up on that.
What if my ceiling is tight, or it is a bathroom?
The recessed fitting needs 75mm of clearance above the ceiling. Where there is not room for that, or in a bathroom or other wet area, we fit a flush IP65 rated unit instead. We work that out from your photo before we quote.
Are you licensed?
Yes. Lotron Electrical, REC 32787. Every install is carried out by a licensed electrician and the work is certified.
How long does it take?
Most rooms are a single afternoon. We give you the timing with your quote so you know before you book.
